About Andy

I've dabbled in the world of painting for the past few years, sometimes diving in wholeheartedly and other times taking breaks. Along this creative journey, I've had the privilege of being a student in painting classes guided by the talented Jannie Jordaan. The experience has been instrumental in honing my skills and nurturing my artistic aspirations.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my artistic endeavors is sharing the fruits of my labor with my loved ones. I've found joy in giving my finished paintings as heartfelt gifts to both family members and close friends. It's a way for me to connect with them on a deeper level and express my feelings through art.

When it comes to the canvas, my heart gravitates toward two main themes: landscapes and Ngunies. There's something about capturing the beauty of nature that truly resonates with me. Whether it's the vastness of open spaces or the intricate details of a serene scene, landscapes allow me to translate my awe of the world onto the canvas.

Ngunies hold a special place in my artistic repertoire as well. The intricate patterns and cultural significance they carry provide a rich and meaningful context for my art. Each stroke of the brush becomes a way for me to explore and celebrate this aspect of heritage.

In a nutshell, my journey in painting is a blend of learning, sharing, and expressing through landscapes and Ngunies. It's a path that allows me to constantly evolve as an artist and create connections that go beyond words.

About Jannie

I'm a self-tought, disciplined artist with a passion for painting since 1994.
I fell deeply in love with the process of creation with no formal training.

No matter the medium, my art has always been a manifestation of my personal and spiritual journey.
I share my vision with the world, hoping to inspire a deeper connection between the viewer and their own life journey.

With over 7000 paintings sold, I encourage people to live deeply and appreciate this heavenly place called earth.

In 2019 I had the opportunity of painting a Wildlife Mural in Mogadishu, Somalia.
My art is meant to challenge your preconceptions, expand your mind, honour the sacred and evolve feelings of adventure and exploration.

I aim to create much more than external objects.
